how do we build something that endures and gives ?

it’s the question I keep coming back to.

for over twenty years, I’ve been investing in two things simultaneously. tangible assets — real estate, capital, the mechanics of financial longevity. and intangible assets — how I move through the world, how I inhabit my body, how I tend the inner life that everything else runs on.

seeking continuity in both areas.

for a long time they felt like parallel tracks. related, maybe. but separate.

what I’ve come to see

these pursuits aren’t separate. they’re two sides of the same equation. and the more I’ve said that out loud — in rooms with other investors, other builders, other people quietly asking the same questions — the more I’ve heard: yes. me too. I just didn’t have language for it.

the question underneath all the others

if you’re reading this, there’s a real possibility you’ll live to 90. or 100. maybe beyond.

which means the relationship between how you steward your capital and how you inhabit your body isn’t a peripheral concern. it’s the central one.

will your capital sustain you across a longer arc — more phases, more reinvention, a shifting economy no one ever planned for?

will your physical well-being give you the energy and freedom to actually show up for that life?

will the work feel like it means something — not just now, but in what it leaves behind?

these questions don’t belong to finance. they don’t belong to wellness. they belong to the space between — which is where I’ve been living, and where I wanted to find community.

so I built a container.

essentia arc is a collective. not because I have answers.

because I’ve found that the right questions, asked in community, have a way of becoming something transcendent.
